Rain rain come our way!

Praying for rain this week...the lake is still great and lots of things to do around it, but sadly that won't be the case if we don't get rain soon.

Summer is coming!

I love this time of year...the sun is hot, the water is getting warmer, and the weather is BEAUTIFUL! It is a great time of year for hiking, boating, and just enjoying Lake Travis. Check it out yourself if you have a free weekend!

Summer is here and the lake is full.

I knwo it has been some time, but had to write...we have had so many great people staying with us this summer, it is hard to find time to update.

Aquapalooza is here though and a weekend of food, music, and fun is sure to a great time.

Brad Paisley is entertaining this year and I love love love him.

Anyway, I will post photos next week.

Spring is in the Air

Not sure where you are from, but right now it is 65 degrees in Lago Vista, TX. I am looking forward to a beautiful weekend and spending some quality time with my own family in the Family Suite!

The View Suite is ready for you

The View Suite is officially ready for rent. We recently purchased a second townhouse because our family is growing, and we needed more space. That means all of you will also have the chance for more space. This unit has really been upgraded. See for yourself:

We call it the View Suite because of the amazing view...how novel.

The living room is very nicely furnished and has tons of space. It even has crown molding.


The master bedroom features two queen pillow top beds and has a full bathroom with a washer and dryer. Very nice if you are planning a long stay!

Welcome to the Family Suite

We have owned and had guests share our family suite for almost two years. When we are not enjoying the lake ourselves we love to share this cozy get-away with others!

This is the kitchen and dining area. Although, we just bought a new stove...I really need to update the photos. I just realized they are all a little out dated, so more to come!

Rain Rain Don't Go Away!

Guess what, it rained all last night! This summer is going to be amazing!

The scenery of Lake Travis is remarkable!

There are so many things to do in the area, but my favorites are relaxing and enjoying the scenery around me!
My kids love to play at this park, and I enjoy taking them because I can walk down by the lake. This is one of the first things on our to do list each time we visit.

We took this photo on the way to Constitution Park. This buck was literally five feet away from our truck! Amazing.

This is the view that we have as you come over the last hill before the townhouse. Every time I pass this bluff I can't help but think about how lucky I am to have a place like this to visit.

Lake Travis has risen!

The lake is on the rise again. Watch out Summer here we come!
